A complete platform —
not just hardware.
Robot Aviation is an engineering organisation with its own development, production and lifecycle support. We deliver complete unmanned aircraft systems — aircraft, ground control, training and sustainment — for surveillance, ISR and mission support in demanding environments.
A centre of competence,
end to end.
We design, produce and support our own systems, produce for third parties, and develop technology capabilities in close cooperation with selected partners. We offer access to an organisation and ecosystem that engineers, builds, improves and supports the capability through its entire life.
The mission defines the payload; the platform stays the same. Every system is operated from one ground control station and supported by the same team that built it.
What we deliver.
Four domains that span the full life of a system — from the operational picture in the field to the support that keeps it flying.
Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance
Persistent intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance for situational awareness. Long-endurance observation over the area of interest, delivering the picture commanders need before they commit.
- Persistent overwatch and area surveillance
- Real-time imagery to the operator
- Single-operator deployment

Mission support
Swarming, force protection, search and rescue, and support across the operational picture.
- Force protection & convoy overwatch
- Search and rescue in demanding conditions
- Mission-configurable payloads

Engineering & R&D
In-house development, rapid engineering and mission-driven product development. We build our own systems and produce for third parties, with the freedom to design hardware that off-the-shelf commercial equipment cannot meet.
- Own development and rapid engineering
- Advanced in-house manufacturing
- Field testing and operational feedback

Lifecycle support
Training, service, spare parts and continuous development through the system's life. We support what we build — so a capability stays operational, supportable and current long after delivery.
- Operator training and sustainment
- Service, spares and continuous development
- Long-term partnership through the lifecycle

One family. One ground station.
SkyRobot™ is a family of complementary platforms — each suited to a different mission profile, all operated from the same SkyView ground control station. Train once, operate the family.
Fixed-wing VTOL
A fixed-wing VTOL system for surveillance and ISR, in active operational use. Long endurance with the flexibility of vertical take-off and landing — no runway required.
In operational useMulti-rotor VTOL
A six-rotor VTOL platform for missions that call for hover, precision and a compact footprint. Operated from the same SkyView ground station as the rest of the family.
In the platform familyNext-generation platform
The next platform in the SkyRobot family, under development. Designed to extend the family's reach into new mission profiles.
Under developmentOne control system.
Any vehicle, any mission.
A single, NATO-interoperable ground control station built for any vehicle type, payload or contested environment — the same familiar workflow across the whole platform family.
Engineered for reliability where it counts.
Our principles are not slogans — they are why our systems are trusted in demanding environments.
Hardened by design
Built for demanding and contested environments. Where commercial off-the-shelf hardware is not viable, we engineer our own — because reliability is not optional where it matters most.
Sovereign & supportable
Designed, engineered and produced in Norway. Sovereign capability and security of supply are designed in, not bolted on.
Interoperable
Built to recognised standards — NATO STANAG 4586, encrypted datalink — so our systems integrate into partner operations rather than standing apart.
Mission-driven
Development is shaped by real operational needs and field feedback. The mission defines the requirement; the engineering follows.
