About Robot Aviation

Norwegian engineering,
built for the mission.

We develop modular unmanned aircraft systems for surveillance, ISR and mission support — designed, engineered and produced in Norway, and trusted where reliability matters most.

Who we are

An engineering organisation,
not a catalogue.

Robot Aviation develops and builds unmanned aircraft systems for surveillance, ISR and mission support. From our base at Eggemoen Aviation & Technology Park near Hønefoss, we design our own platforms, produce them in-house, and support them through their entire operational life.

Founded in 2008, the company has grown into a centre of competence for unmanned aviation — combining advanced engineering with real operational experience. We don't just sell aircraft; we deliver complete capabilities, and we stand behind them for the long term.

Vision & mission

What we are here to do.

MISSION

Mission-critical intelligence, where it counts.

Robot Aviation develops modular UAS platforms for surveillance, ISR and mission support in demanding environments. Designed and built in Norway, our systems provide mission-critical intelligence where reliability matters most.

VISION

A trusted Norwegian capability with international relevance.

To be the partner of choice for unmanned aircraft systems that work in the real world — sovereign technology, relevant to selected partners wherever the mission takes them.

What we stand for

Five principles that guide everything we build.

They are how we make decisions, every day.

01

Operational effect first

We start from what the mission demands, not from a spec sheet. The value is in the effect a system delivers in the field.

02

Trust & reliability

Our systems are trusted because they work when it matters. Reliability is engineered in, never assumed.

03

Norwegian tech, international relevance

Sovereign Norwegian engineering, built to standards that matter to selected partners well beyond home.

04

Customer & lifecycle

We support what we build through its whole life — training, service and continuous development, not just delivery.

05

Partnership & long-term thinking

We build long-term relationships with the operators and partners who depend on us, and we're in it for the long run.
